Growing as an Ethical and Reflective Education Professional focuses on principled teaching, empowering educators through self-reflection, cultural competence, and effective teaching practices. Participants will deepen their understanding of planning and participation indicators within influential teacher evaluation frameworks, including the Danielson Framework for Teaching, Marzano Teacher Evaluation Model, and TAP System for Teacher and Student Advancement. The course emphasizes:

• Enhancing teacher efficacy and self-assessment practices
• Documenting and sharing student progress effectively
• Maintaining accurate records and student confidentiality
• Building strong partnerships with families and the community
• Reflecting on cultural backgrounds and biases to foster inclusivity
• Implementing trauma-informed teaching and ethical decision-making

Participants will develop strategies for advocating for students and the teaching profession, concluding the course with a clear plan for continued professional growth and teaching effectiveness.
