Course Description

This course empowers educators with strategies to enhance student learning experiences, aligning with influential teacher evaluation frameworks such as the Danielson Framework for Teaching, Marzano Teacher Evaluation Model, and TAP System for Teacher and Student Advancement. Participants will engage in reflective practice to assess their expertise in designing effective learning experiences, focusing on clear communication of expectations and the use of success criteria. The course covers methods for:

    • Scaffolding instruction to support student learning
    • Engaging students in meaningful vocabulary learning
    • Facilitating productive classroom discussions
    • Promoting effective student collaboration
    • Using data-driven strategies to differentiate instruction
    • Making instructional adjustments to meet student needs

Educators will evaluate and refine instructional resources to enhance student engagement and self-reflection. Upon completion, teachers will be equipped with practical tools to create dynamic, student-centered classrooms focused on engagement, learning, and student success.

Course Objectives
