Course Description

This course is designed for K–12 educators seeking to strengthen their instructional planning and preparation skills to improve student learning outcomes. Grounded in the most widely used teacher evaluation frameworks—including the Danielson Framework for Teaching, Marzano Teacher Evaluation Model, and TAP System for Teacher and Student Advancement—this course explores:

    • Setting clear learning objectives
    • Designing engaging, differentiated instruction
    • Selecting and using formative assessments effectively

Through interactive content, expert facilitation, and practical application, participants will:

    • Enhance lesson design and instructional decision-making
    • Apply strategies to reduce cognitive load and support diverse learners
    • Connect course learning to instructional coaching and Tier 1 instruction

By the end of the course, educators will be equipped with tools to improve their teaching practice and positively impact student achievement.
